) MyStreamz.com is a website I created that allows anyone to upload their own music to our streaming music server and listen to it from any computer connected to the internet. You can also stream your music to your Sony PSP device over a wireless network. Uploading your music is done with drag and drop simplicity. The MP3 Management Console is an excellent demonstration of the awesome powers available utilizing the PHP scripting language and MySQL databases. I invite you to sign up for a free 100MB account. ) InspiredViews.com was a PHP image gallery project I created in an evening for a friend of a friend that was in a pinch. He had a client meeting in a couple of days and no gallery section to show them. The requirements were described to me at 9PM and a working sample was functioning on my website for him three hours later. The section links on the bottom left are dynamically created... they are the names of the folders in the same directory as the PHP file. Additional pages of thumbnails are automatically created according to the number of Jpeg images in each folder. I also made it very flexible... there is a variable that determines how many thumbnails per row and another variable that determines how many rows per page. |
Flash VR With Tracking Hotspots [Open Module]

) This Flash VR module was created as a proof of concept project for one of our clients. They had a 3D CAD model that they wanted to view from all angles. The tricky part is that their model has 13 parts that must be clickable from any angle they are visible. Once they are clicked, the camera needs to zoom in on them until they fill the screen and finally allow the user to view the part in a 360 degree spin. This sample model showcases some complicated actionscript coding that allows you to navigate it's 300+ jpeg images. Unfortunately, the actual project hasn't been started yet. However, this POC sample does make an excellent portfolio piece. |
Build A Retaining Wall [Open Module]

This web module is a proof of concept project. Our client wanted their customers to be able to upload a photo of their yard, then build a retaining wall on top of it. This sample demonstrates how the wall sections could be drag and dropped onto their photo. Once they are dropped, the individual wall sections can be repositioned, angled, scaled, moved to the top most layer and deleted. The tricky part is getting the wall sections to appear at the correct scale in the customer's photograph. My idea was to create a measuring tape tool. The customer must place an 8 foot 2x4 board in their photo where a wall section would be built. They would then click on the photo at one end of the 8 foot board and drag to and release on the other end. Once they released the button, it would automatically measure the distance and set the scale appropriately. Once the project is secured, I will create this challenging tool along with a nice drag and drop photo uploading utility. |
PrintDisc Pro [Open Website]

) PrintDisc Pro is a shareware program I created that automatically prints all the folders and files contained on your data discs. PrintDisc Pro also enters every file into a searchable Microsoft Access data base file. You can then search this data base by file name, disc name, folder name, or file date. Start up PrintDisc Pro and insert a data CD/DVD. The print dialog will appear, the files are stored into a searchable database, then disc ejects so you can enter another. |
ActionScrambler [Open Website]

) ActionScrambler is a shareware program I created that makes protecting your published SWF Actionscript code easier than ever. It is as easy as cutting your Actionscript code to the computer's clipboard, clicking the "Alter Actionscript Code" button and pasting the protected code back into your scripting window. You can then compile the SWF file and upload the protected file to your website. |

Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to add preloaders to it yet. It will run, but there may be some long waiting periods while the longer videos load up.
